Our theatre for young audiences shows are also able to be seen by the general public! If your child's school doesn't attend our School Time Shows or book a Scholastic Tour, you can still see these wonderful titles on Sunday afternoons at the Palace Theatre.

Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical

Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2pm. Inspired by Ruby Bridges, Polkadots is a story of acceptance. Lily Polkadot just moved to a "Squares Only" small town of Rockaway. Lily faces daily bullying and even segregated water fountains. Although her quest to gain acceptance seems hopeless, she befriends Sky Square and they learn together that what makes us different also makes us awesome! A new musical currently running Off-Broadway, Park Playhouse's production shines right here in Albany at the Palace Theatre! Tickets on sale November 1.

Schoolhouse Rock Live!

Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 2pm. A pop culture phenomenon comes to the Palace stage in Schoolhouse Rock Live! the Emmy-Award winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math and more through clever, tuneful songs. Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher learns how to win his students over with imagination and music when his TV comes alive. Featuring favorites "Just A Bill" and "Conjunction Junction", Schoolhouse Rock Live! is a musical treat. Tickets on sale November 1.

Pinkalicious the Musical

Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 2pm. This is the tale, based on the popular book by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann, of Pinkalicious, who can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an infection that turns her pink from head to toe - a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this predicament. Pinkalicious the Musical is about learning the power of self-control and the importance of moderation. Tickets on sale November 1.
