The Palace Theatre is proud to partner with the CAP COM Family of Companies including the CAP COM Cares Foundation, The City of Albany and The Food Pantries for the Capital Region to celebrate the remarkable collective effort to support the city of Albany during the COVID-19 pandemic. During a special invite-only press event, the four organizations celebrated The Food Pantries for the Capital Region’s distribution of more than 9,600 pounds of free food and fresh produce at the Palace. Over 300 backpacks with school supplies to local families were funded by CAP COM and also distributed at the Palace. The four organizations also recognized several additional nonprofit partners in the City of Albany for their continued commitment to serving our community during such challenging times.
