That’s a wrap on the 2026 Broadview Federal Credit Union Summer in the City Free Movie Series presented by Fidelis Care! Thank you to the thousands of children, families and community members who joined us each week at the Palace Theatre for free movies, popcorn, activities and entertainment.

Summer in the City is about much more than what happens on the big screen. Each week, local organizations, sponsors & community partners helped us create an engaging experience for families before the movies began. We are grateful to Ten Broeck Mansion, Albany Firebirds, Bring On The Spectrum, Albany NY Library, Historic Cherry Hill, the Hart Cluett Museum, Earthworld Comics, Magicman Entertainment, AARP, Hill City Ice Queen Princess Parties, Heroic Horizons, Scene One Spectrum 8 Theatres, Huck Finn's Playland, Miss Stacey's Faces, Fancy Face Creations, Toss The Feathers, and Stewart's Shops Corp for helping make this year’s series so memorable.

Summer in the City is part of the Palace Theatre’s Community Engagement Initiative, which provides free and low-cost arts, entertainment and educational programming that positively impacts thousands of children and families throughout the Capital Region each year. Programs like this are central to our mission of bringing our community together and ensuring the Palace remains accessible and welcoming to everyone.

We are incredibly grateful to our title sponsor, Broadview FCU, and presenting sponsor, Fidelis Care, for making the series possible, along with our Community Engagement Initiative sponsors Market 32/Price Chopper Supermarkets, National Grid, Stewart's Shops/Dake Family, The Bender Family Foundation, CDTA, Fenimore Asset Management, CSEA, Ostroff Associates, the Touhey Family Foundation, Lamar Advertising Company and The Spot 518.

Thank you to our sponsors, partners, staff, volunteers and everyone who spent part of their summer with us at the Palace. We’re already looking forward to next year!
