The sun was shining, the music was playing and our community came out in a BIG way for the Palace Theatre’s annual Community Block Party presented by National Grid. Seeing so many families, friends and neighbors gathered together outside the Palace made for an incredible August afternoon in Downtown Albany.

The Community Block Party is part of the Palace Theatre’s Community Engagement Initiative, one of several free and low-cost arts and educational programs offered by the Palace that positively impact thousands of local children and families each year. Events like this are at the heart of our mission to bring our community together and ensure that the Palace remains a place for everyone.
